Derbyshire County Council are encouraging anyone who lives in the county to take part in their large scale consultation asking the question ‘What’s important to live your best life now and in the future?’

Derbyshire County Council want to plan for the future, especially moving forward after the Covid-19 pandemic, so they really want to listen to local people to find out what is important to them. They want to understand more about the type of support people might want, or might have wanted, when they needed help. The views captured in the consultation will be used to shape services into the future.

Sight Support Derbyshire are therefore encouraging everyone in Derbyshire to have their say in this consultation to highlight the needs of people with sight loss and what services and support might enable visually impaired people to live their #BestLifeDerbyshire

To find out more about the consultation and the many ways you could get involved from polls to face to face events to virtual meetings please visit their website: Best Life Derbyshire — Sortified
