Our 2026 programme of Sight Loss Information Days is well underway! To find out when we’re next in your area, see the programme below.
Our Information Days are designed to showcase local agencies offering advice, equipment and support to people with a visual impairment. The events are particularly useful if you are newly registered, but are open to everyone.
We always have a variety of equipment, for demonstration and for sale. You can talk to our staff and people from other agencies to find out what is available to help you.
The events usually run from 10.30 until 1pm unless otherwise stated. For further information please call 01332 292262, or just drop in on the day. You are welcome to bring a friend or family member with you. We usually have a range of exhibitors which may include: Electronic Magnifiers; Welfare Benefits; Community Transport; Deaf and Hearing Support; Talking Newspapers etc.
Wednesday 10th June 2026 (12-2.30) – St Thomas Centre, Chesterfield
Tuesday 14th July 2026 – Erewash CVS, Long Eaton
Tuesday 8th September 2026 – Medway Community Centre, Bakewell
Wednesday 14th October 2026 – Broadway Baptist Church, Derby
Thursday 5th November 2026 – Assembly Rooms, Bolsover
Wednesday 25th November 2026 – St Joseph’s Church Hall, Ripley
