New Social and Leisure Activity Programme Autumn Winter 2025

Oct 21, 2025

Our new Social and Leisure Activities programme for autumn/winter 2025 is now available. If you are interested in coming along please get in touch as soon as possible to book your place.

Activities in this programme include cafe meet ups, Christmas crafts, theatre trips and the ‘Music Vision Room’ project – an opportunity to make music with everyday objects such as cups and chopsticks in a workshop led by renowned musician Mendi Singh.

There’s something for everyone to choose from so if you or someone you know is affected by sight loss and would like the opportunity to get out of the house and spend some time with other people living with similar daily challenges please do get in touch with us – we would love to hear from you. New members are always welcome and you don’t have to come to every event – you can pick and choose those events that are suitable for you. We know that living with sight loss can be challenging at times and people tell us they sometimes feel lonely and isolated. Our activity programme aims to give you the opportunity to visit new places and meet new people.

To find out more or to book one of the activities please email enquiries@sightsupportderbyshire.org.uk or phone 01332 292262 and ask for Victoria.

A copy of the activity programme can be found on our Social and Leisure page.
