Our new Social and Leisure Activities programme for winter/spring 2026 is now available. If you are interested in coming along please get in touch as soon as possible to book your place.
We have organised a few meet ups to see us through these winter months, with the next full programme due in March which will have a wider range of activities for all to enjoy as the weather improves.
In this programme we have a music session in Chesterfield, a cafe meet up in Swadlincote, and a wellbeing session and ten pin bowling visit in Derby.
If you or someone you know is affected by sight loss and would like the opportunity to get out of the house and spend some time with other people living with similar daily challenges please do get in touch with us – we would love to hear from you. New members are always welcome and you don’t have to come to every event – you can pick and choose those events that are suitable for you. We know that living with sight loss can be challenging at times and people tell us they sometimes feel lonely and isolated. Our activity programme aims to give you the opportunity to visit new places and meet new people.
To find out more or to book one of the activities please email enquiries@sightsupportderbyshire.org.uk or phone 01332 292262 and ask for Victoria.
