Come and meet some of the team from Sight Support Derbyshire. Here you will find useful information about how our services can support you, and you can find out more about how other local agencies can help. You are welcome no matter where you live in Derbyshire.
We always have a variety of equipment on display, which we can demonstrate, and you will have the opportunity to purchase on the day if you wish. We are sure you will discover something new and useful.
Sight impaired people, their friends and relatives, and people who work in Health and Social Care are welcome to drop in.
You will also be able to talk to people from different organisations offering advice and support to people with a visual impairment, with information from, or about: Deaf and Hearing Support; Age UK; Connex Community Support; fire safety at home; Glaucoma Society; Derbyshire Libraries; Macular Society; welfare rights; accessible mobile phones; electronic reading aids.
