Take on 250 for Sight Support Derbyshire!
Every day in the UK 250 people begin to lose their sight. That’s why we are joining together with local sight loss charities across the UK, and the RNIB, to encourage as many people as possible to Take on 250 in January 2023 to raise vital funds to support adults and children affected by sight loss.
Choose a new challenge, or take on something you love, and complete 250 of whatever you decide. You could do it on your own, with a friend or as a family.
How it works:
- Choose your challenge: running, cycling, walking, swimming, cake baking, knitting, dancing – the sky’s the limit!
- Decide your 250 goal – it could be something that you will do for 250 minutes; for 250 km, repeat 250 times of create 250 items
- Pick a timeframe that suits you – complete it all in one go, spread it across January, or anything in between!
- Click on the ‘Sign up’ button below to get started. All the money you raise will be spent supporting local people in Derby and Derbyshire who are affected by sight loss
