Our new Social and Leisure Activities programme for autumn/winter 2026 is now available. If you are interested in coming along please get in touch as soon as possible to book your place.
We have a variety of activities including craft sessions, cafe meet ups, gentle walks and a folk music session. As it’s coming up to that festive time of year again, we will also be putting on our ever popular theatre visits, which this year will be ‘The Railway Children’ at Derby Theatre and ‘Beauty and the Beast’ in Chesterfield. Please contact Victoria to book on any of our activities, but in particular, if you would like to join in the Theatre trips, please sign up as soon as possible so that we can book the tickets.
If you or someone you know is affected by sight loss and would like the opportunity to get out of the house and spend some time with other people living with similar daily challenges please do get in touch with us – we would love to hear from you. New members are always welcome and you don’t have to come to every event – you can pick and choose those events that are suitable for you. We know that living with sight loss can be challenging at times and people tell us they sometimes feel lonely and isolated. Our activity programme aims to give you the opportunity to visit new places and meet new people.
To find out more or to book one of the activities please email enquiries@sightsupportderbyshire.org.uk or phone 01332 292262 and ask for Victoria.
A copy of the activity programme can be found on our Social and Leisure page. We look forward to meeting you!
